So it seems another month has passed in a flash. My, how this year has flown. But, no time for dilly-dallying, there’s a new post for that needs writing.
This month, Kozo of everyday gurus, has given us the following challenge: To post a quotation that will bring peace to the world.
We can use any of the given formats:
- book quotations
- poems
- sayings
- song lyrics
- mantras
- personal sayings
- scripture
- movie lines
- anything you heard, read, saw, or created
“Let’s inundate the internet with a peace collage of powerful words and images.” – Kozo
I deliberated for a good hour this morning, wondering what to do with this month’s challenge. And although I could have chosen a beautiful quote from one of many brilliant people, I chose to write the above piece myself.
Why you ask? Well, I could spend hours trawling the web for something to inspire me. And don’t get me wrong, there are some really amazing quotations out there. But, if I don’t feel what the person is trying to convey and I simply use it because I think it sounds nice. Then am I being honest with myself.
For me, peace is more than a saying, it is a feeling . And no doubt, like the people who found the inspiration for their quotes, I too have to believe in the message I’m trying to communicate (although, I don’t think my post this month will bring peace to the world). So embrace your peace, whatever form it may take. Stay true to it. Feel it. Love it. Above all though, share it. Get it out there people.
That’s it for this month, so peace out. 🙂
Please take the time to have a look at this amazing post (not that the others aren’t amazing!), I can say, hand on heart, it sent chills up my spine. Yeah, I felt it.

Love this, Sarah. I love the story behind the quotation. My favorite lines are “So embrace your peace, whatever form it may take. Stay true to it. Feel it. Love it. Above all though, share it.” We need to make this into a poster. {{{Hugs]}} Kozo
Thank Kozo. I’m glad you liked it. 🙂
Sarah,
The words on a screen can only be a beginning. If they are left there, alone, they remain only words but if, someone is able to do something with the words, is inspired by, takes action on those words, and secures results, they have served a purpose.
The authenticity, and feeling coming from the writer will be apparent.
I believe we, are born with the truth but through sincere communication we become cognizant of that truth.
