Day 21. Okay, so week three is here already, and although I’ve enjoyed writing the things that I have, I’ve concluded my blog has no purpose other than relying on the Daily Prompt. Sure, I’ve thrown in a few extras, but there’s no consistency to them. I’m quite an indecisive person you know.
What I’m asking dear readers is, should I continue the way I’m going, or, should I set a theme a day in place?
Not sure? Well, I’ve decided to do a little poll and hopefully, with your assistance, acquire some feedback to help me. Only if you want to play along, of course.
Now wasn’t that easy. Also, if you want to, leave a comment below with any ideas you might have. Keep it clean people!
Thanks for taking part. I’ll leave the poll in place for a week and then see where I stand.
Here’s my opinion for what it’s worth. i think the daily goal is admirable. I just finished telling someone that writing is like anything else, it takes practice. But I would want to be sure that I am getting practice and not just writing for the sake of writing. If you can keep up with the daily prompt AND work on meaningful drafts in between, to me that would be your best recourse. I think I may have told you this before but I am going to again in case I am confused (that happens). There are two challenges that I am enjoying right now that you might also http://thelifeofathinker.wordpress.com/2012/12/19/if-this-is-the-title/ in which he gives you the title and you write the post. And my newest love Friday Fictioneers http://rochellewisofffields.wordpress.com/ These are weekly challenges and yet I still find I am posting most every day. In the end it’s really about
What do you want your blog to be?
Thanks for that. I’m an indecisive person so things run away from me sometimes. But the two links you’ve given me seem a good idea.
I will carry on with the Daily Prompts, unless there’s something there I can’t write about and I’ll try and think of other things too. 🙂
Oh, it would be wondefrul to have you join us!
I find I can’t make a post around quite a lot of the daily prompts (I’m not writing daily though anyway) – perhaps you can make one day a week for poetry, one for finding a prompt by reading someone else’s post, etcetc?
Now I’m going to check those links in the comment above 🙂
Great ideas, thanks. 🙂
