I had to rewrite this story, so sorry for any delay. I hope you enjoy the last instalment, it’s quite different from the rest because I wanted to leave the sanctity of Christmas intact. Well, that’s what I’ve been telling myself all morning!
Hey! Make sure you check out the final stories from the other passengers, the train’s reached the station now, so please do everyone a huge favour and give them a read, okay.
I could hear talking. Lots of talking, in fact.
‘I told him not to watch the in-flight movie, especially the wizard of oz.’ I heard Dasher say.
‘Yeah, we all know what a pansy he is. Those flying monkeys always freak him out.’ Comet responded and laughed.
I forced my eyes open and saw all eight Reindeer hovering over me. Why did they look so clean and shiny? That taser must’ve packed a bigger punch than I thought.
‘Blitzen!’ I screeched. What’s happened to my voice?
‘Rudolph, you’re awake!’ Donner squealed, and smothered me in kisses.
‘Is this some kind of sick joke! Get off me woman, I’m Musk Oxen! ’ I said, pushing her away.
‘He must’ve landed harder than we thought,’ Cupid whispered to Vixen.
Where the hell am I? I rubbed my head, startled when my hoof touched an antler. ‘I’m a… Reindeer?’
Then it came back to me. Santa had installed a DVD player, linking it to the Sat Nav devices on our blinders. I thought it’d be fun to watch the movie whilst flying.
‘Oh, Crap.’ I remembered shrieking then hitting the motorway sign.
‘Ho-ho-ho, you talk some shit Rudolph. Dasher a drunk, Dancer and Prancer lap-dancers… ho-ho-ho. But me and Donner, that’s just sick.’
‘Big Man! You’re alive!’ My red nose glowed. It’d all been a bad dream.
‘Come on Dorothy, let’s go home, Auntie Em will be worrying,’ Prancer giggled.
And they disappeared into the night sky.

Well done…great save of the story. Loved each and every one of ’em. Thanks so much for boarding the joy train. It’s been grand. 🙂
No, thank you for inviting me on board, I’ve had a blast. 🙂
Nice!
Had to make the ending a bit easier on the eye. Thanks for taking the time to read my posts. 🙂
I enjoyed them.
Hey, a grand ending…excellent. What will we do tomorrow with no reindeer left to write about? Might have to go and wander about in the deer park nearby! 🙂
Not the intended ending, but hey, I tried. As for tomorrow, I’ll have to get back to editing, but the deer park sounds a far better idea. Thanks for looking in and commenting, much appreciated. 🙂
Very very nice! Reminded me of the end of LOST… 🙂
Thanks very much. Never seen Lost, although I always wanted to. 🙂
He had the power to go home all along or, er, something like that. And, Yay! Santa lives! 🙂
Bit of a cheesy ending, but I couldn’t go with the original as it wasn’t quite appropriate at this time. 🙂
Great ending! Thank you for joining BlogFestivus this year.
(And I have to admit the flying monkeys kinda freak me out too. Guess I’m a pansy, but I’m okay with that.)
Thank you for having me. I’m pleased that I eventually read all your posts, if hadn’t I would,ve missed a great interpretation of the nine reindeers. 🙂
