Could I be crazy!

Well, I’ve set myself a challenge.

I wanted to give this a go, see if I had longevity in completing the task I’ve set. Not easy. Not when I’m also working on three manuscripts, too.

Why have I taken such a risky move you might ask. Well, maybe I needed a push, something to keep me going when my other challenges hit a rough patch. Like a remedy to the dreaded writers block. Or just another project to fill my already busy schedule. Who knows. I don’t. Perhaps I’m just the proverbial-glutton-for-punishment type of person. I’ll let you decide for yourselves.

So, bring on tomorrow. Day one of three-hundred-and-sixty-five.

Sarah.

      2. Merry Christmas to you, too. :)

  5. if you have blogger’s block, which is worse than writer’s block when you are attempting to do a psot a day. May I suggest the dailypost for inspiration.. Good luck on your challenge, look forward to watching your success.

    1. Thanks. As long as the internet doesn’t keep failing on me I hope to complete my challenge. :)

    1. Thanks, I really hope so! :)

  6. Wow. Good luck with that. :)
It takes me forever to think, write, edit one blog every few days and stay happily married. Thanks for dropping by my Daily prompt entry.

    1. Thanks. When you’ve been married for 28 years, the husband soon realises when not to complain. ;) And your welcome. :)

  7. Awesome challenge! Plus, it’ll be great looking back at all those posts you managed to come up with! Best of luck with keeping up with the daily posts though!

    1. Thanks for your support. :)

  8. wishing you good luck for your challenge!

    1. Thanks. I’m going to need it by the bucket loads. :)

  9. If you have to ask if you’re crazy then you’re clearly doing it wrong. Never doubt yourself. You certainly ARE crazy and don’t let anyone tell you differently.

    1. I knew it! Damn, what do I do now! ;)

  10. Challenge can keep us focused and accomplishing our goals. Do not let it become overwhelming, remember you know where the stop[ button is hidden. Good luck on your adventure. What are your manuscripts about?

    1. One’s about an 18 yr old orphan called Eve, who has suffered with visions and voices from a young age, she soon discovers there’s more to her life than she imagined.
Another is about a set of islands called Alphabet Cove, where young children are chosen to help the islands and the strange creatures and to learn something about themselves in the process.
The last one was a horror, which I’ve put aside for a while because I’m now thinking it would be better suited for an adult audience. And of course, I’ve now started writing Eight, which is a new concept completely, but I’m having a lot of fun. Thanks for asking. :)

      1. Will you try to shop these to traditional publishers or self publish? I am wanting to publish my first work this year, but I am still so new to the process.

      2. As I’m terrible at writing a synopsis (believe me, I’ve tried!)
I’m deliberating going the self published route. But at the moment I’m in no hurry. Good luck with yours, though. If you do it before me, you’ll have to share how it went, I’d be interested to know. :)

      3. I am terrible at writing anything that is short. I get too involved in setting the scene and plot.

  11. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Good luck with your challenge! :)

  12. Good luck. I have three books written needing a rewrite for 5 years. Hard to find time to think and write. Writing need time and patience.

    1. Thanks, and I agree, it is hard finding the time let alone the patience to dedicate ourselves to it. :)

  13. Wishing you all the best when it comes to meeting your goals! I’ll cheer you on … and you can send some good vibes my way too, okay? ‘Cause I have a half-written NaNoWriMo2012 novel that needs finished and edited. Ran out of steam! Loving the haiku process very much BUT it’s time to look at the gargoyle novel again. [good wishes going your way good wishes going your way good wishes going your way good wishes....]

    1. Thanks very much. I’m sure you’ll find your steam again and finish the book. Good wishes going your way too. :)

  14. All the best with your challenge, you know you can do it :)

    1. Alas, I have failed already. My laptop up and died on me, so I missed quite a few days. But hey, thanks for the encouragment anyway. :)

  15. Three manuscripts and a new project as well. Good luck with it all. Goals are important. If you don’t have something to aim for, you will never hit anything.

    1. Totally agree with you, but it can get a little time consuming, especially when I have so many posts to read by other bloggers. :)
